All Player of the Year Points, Birdies for Charity, Sun Mountain Challenge and Montana Cup Points have been updated. Scott Longenecker’s player of the year points lead is getting smaller. Ryan Malby is only 5 points behind. In the early stages of the Sun Mountain Challenge we have 5 players tied for the lead at -2, those players would be Greg Morris, Michael Wynn, Josh Walsh, Jon Eastlick and Chris Newton. We still have 11 events remaining in the Sun Mountain Challenge for 2013. Birdies for Charity leader board is a run away for Scott Longenecker with 40 birdies and 4 eagles so far this year. Roger Wallace is the next closest with 29 birdies. Keep up the great work everyone!!!!! Montana Cup standings have come to a close for this years Montana Cup Matches that will Be August 6 & 7 at Whitefish Lake Golf Club. The Montana Cup Matches are 12 Professionals (6 from Western Montana Chapter and 6 from Yellowstone Chapter) and the top 12 Amateur finishers at this years Montana State Men’s Amateur. The top 6 point earners from the Western Montana Chapter are Scott Longenecker, Ryan Malby, Roger Wallace, Greg Morris, Cameron Milton and Jason Lehtola. The rest of the top 10 were Jess Roper, David Owens, Lon Hinkle and Gene Edstrom. We start earning points for the 2014 Montana Cup Matches July 1 at Glacier View GC.
