12 Professionals and 12 Amateurs from around the State of Montana faced off at Green Meadow Country Club playing for the Montana Cup. Amateurs started out day one with an early lead Tuesday morning gaining a 3 point advantage in the Four-Ball Matches and added on to their lead with another 4 points in the afternoon rounds Chapman Matches to end the day up 21 1/2 to 14 1/2.
Day two concluded with similar results as the Amateurs overtook the Professionals in the singles matches 22 1/2 points to 13 1/2 points. The Montana State Amateurs retained the Montana Cup with a 44 point to 22 point victory overt the Professionals.
